Ferrari Group S.R.L. (Italy) expressed the interest in building a vehicle manufacturing plant in Panyu’s Industrial Free Trade Zone. In Mar 2023, the chairman of Ferrari Group S.R.L. (Italy), Dr. Orhan Vortche, was welcomed by the Panyu Government and had the opportunity to understand Panyu investment environment during the conference.

Leverage Robotics to Make Aluminum Alloy Car Frame Components
Not only Ferrari Group S.R.L. (Italy) can leverage the state-of-the-art robotics for their own vehicle production plants, but can also sell and export the robotics to other countries such as South Africa, Tanzania, and Serbia. Ferrari Group S.R.L (Italy) explored the potential in parting with Risong to identify and provide robotics to our worldwide business partners.

The meeting was held with government officials from the Panyu District to discuss the development of a vehicle manufacturing site in the region. The discussions also covered the potential of hydrogen-fueled vehicles in the global market. The meeting was highly productive, with both parties exploring innovative strategies and collaborative opportunities to advance the automotive industry and promote sustainable transportation solutions.
[Apr 2023] GAC Motor (Trumpchi) Car Manufacturing Plant Tour
Ferrari Group SRL (Italy) places significant emphasis on expanding its partner ecosystem. During a recent trip to Panyu, chairman of Ferrari Group S.R.L. (Italy), Dr. Orhan Vortche, explored potential collaborations with various partners, including GAC Motor. Partnering with GAC Motor would enable Ferrari Group S.R.L. (Italy) to manufacture components of their vehicles or potentially OEM some of the GAC's models prior to the full operation of Ferrari Group SRL's vehicle production plant. Additionally, this partnership could facilitate the sale and export of GAC Motor's vehicles to international markets.
[Apr 2023] Meeting with CSCEC 7th Division (Civil Engineering Company)
Upon receiving the Ferrari Group SRL's smart city concept, government-proposed land layout, and specific design requirements for the Ferrari Group SRL's vehicle manufacturing site, CSCEC Civil Engineering Company has agreed to assist in designing and drafting the schematic diagram for Ferrari Group SRL's Smart Industrial Park. Following the acquisition of manufacturing licenses by Ferrari Group SRL, a partnership agreement will be formalized. Subsequently, a dedicated team will be established to execute the project activities efficiently.
[Mar 2023] Meeting with Panfa Group Co. Ltd.
Besides partnering with Panfa Group to build the Ferrari Group SRL's vehicle production plant in Panyu, both parties also explored other business opportunities such as utilizing an existing island for Ferrari Group SRL's Hotels & Resorts and investing in blue berries that have a size of 3cm in diameter and enhancing Panyu’s tourism industry.
[Apr 2023] Tour at Jingmei Aluminum Industry Co. Ltd.
Despite the challenging economic conditions in recent years, Jingmei's operations have remained robust. The demand for aluminum alloy has remained steady due to its widespread use across various industries. From an operational standpoint, Jingmei is highly efficient, innovative, and environmentally conscious. Notably, 25% of their energy is sourced from solar power, and they are on the verge of implementing a comprehensive carbon-neutral program. Partnering with Jingmei would be advantageous for Ferrari Group S.R.L., allowing both companies to share knowledge and expertise, fostering mutual growth and sustainability.
[Apr 2023] Meeting with Changpu Holdings
Changpu Holdings maintains strong connections with local private companies and Huizhou government officials. In late March 2023, Ferrari Group SRL (Italy) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Changpu to develop the carbon sink business in both China and Europe. For all matters related to Ferrari’s algae cultivation business, Changpu has been appointed as our strategic partner in China. Their responsibilities include conducting initial research, identifying new algae cultivation projects, sourcing suitable cultivation lands, communicating project requirements to interested parties, assessing potential partners' capabilities and proposals, and negotiating terms and conditions on behalf of Ferrari Group SRL.
